Beaches Backyard Patio

Project Objective

Transform this compact Beaches backyard into a functional and inviting outdoor space with a seamless transition to the patio. The design will incorporate low-maintenance elements to suit the clients’ lifestyle while introducing natural features to soften the hardscape. Strategic grading and drainage solutions will eliminate standing water, ensuring a durable and enjoyable environment year-round.

Materials Used

All Techo Bloc products including: 

• Blu 60 HD2 in Greyed Nickel for the patio 
• Blu Grande HD2 in Greyed Nickel for the stepping stones 
• Rocka wall in Riviera for the garden beds & window well
• Rocka Steps in Riviera for the steps

End Result

• A beautiful new patio throughout with lots of room for entertaining. 
• A soil correction which resolved the drainage issues & created a stable subbase which didn't exist previously. 
• Gave the client piece of mind knowing they don't have to worry about water pooling and potential flooding. 
• A beautiful stepping stone path leading to their patio with lots of river rock to further facilitate good drainage. 
• New matching garden bed curbs, steps, and window well, built to last.
